Advanced notice: From Lost Knowledge to Real Magic: Omega Workshop this October.

I’ll be sharing the bill with Dean Radin, Alex and Allyson Grey, and Regina Meredith at the Omega Workshops in Rhinebeck, New York, this October. From Lost Knowledge to Real Magic: https://www.eomega.org/workshops/real-magic. My first NY appearance since - well, even I don’t remember. I know its some time away but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to get word out sooner rather than later. If you can make it it would be great to see you there.

  1. Hi Gary,

This sounds amazing, but won’t be able to go to NYC. However, will be at your talk at Kensington Central Library next month.

On another note, I work at the British Library and under Legal Deposit legislation we have your UK published books, but not those published in the States. Sadly, with the cuts in our budget I don’t think I can convince anyone to purchase them, but there are two which I think would be particularly important for the BL to have: Beyond the Robot: The life and work of Colin Wilson (2016) as it relates to a much ignored British thinker; and Dark Star: Magick and Power in the Age of Trump (2018) as it is so pertinent to the times we are living through. Now for the rather cheeky question - If you have a spare copy of either or both of these books would you consider donating them to the BL, or asking the US publisher to donate? Sorry, but if you don’t ask you don’t get!

Anyway, keep up the good work (I am currently reading your Crowley book which is fantastic) and have an amazing 2019!

    Kind Regards,
    Ian

    1. Ian, it is a sad day when the British Library can’t afford to buy a couple of books. I blame Brexit. I’m flattered that you think these titles should be in the BL. Certainly Beyond the Robot should be, given that Colin Wilson practically lived at the original Reading Room at the British Museum. And it’s criminal that the library bookshop doesn’t carry The Outsider, a book he worked on there. But there you go. If you can send me a semi-official request to [email protected] I can forward it to the publisher and ask that it be honored. I’m glad you’re enjoying Crowley. Cheers!
